Your expertise will ensure that our equipment remains in top condition, allowing us to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Repair & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair small engines used in landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, blade sharpening, and filter replacements. Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical issues and malfunctions in engines and other equipment. Use diagnostic tools and techniques to accurately determine problems and develop effective repair solutions. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular preventive maintenance on all landscaping equipment to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Parts & Inventory Management: Order and manage parts and supplies needed for repairs. Keep track of inventory levels and ensure that the workshop is stocked with essential tools and parts. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and tools. Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner. Customer Service: Interact with team members and, occasionally, clients to address equipment-related concerns. Provide guidance on proper equipment use and maintenance to maximize performance and longevity. Workshop Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment. Ensure that tools and equipment are properly stored, and that the workspace meets safety and cleanliness standards. Daily Inspections: Conduct daily inspections of all equipment to identify any potential issues before they become major problems. Ensure that all equipment is ready for use at the start of each workday. Emergency Repairs: Be available to perform emergency repairs on-site to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience as a small engine mechanic. High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in small engine repair is preferred. Proven experience as a small engine mechanic, preferably with a background in landscaping or similar industries. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair tasks efficiently. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.
