What You’ll Be Doing
As a Digital Solution Data Engineer, your main function is to support the manufacturing organization by finding new valuable and actionable process insights through modeling, transforming, and analyzing large data sets from different automated manufacturing system sources. You will develop and deploy advanced analytics solutions aimed at supporting decision-making, monitoring, and optimizing process outcomes. Additionally, you will create and implement automated systems' digital twins to analyze the processes' input-output relationships and explore optimized process configurations. Your role also includes scouting, assessing, and deploying innovative methods and technologies to expand the available manufacturing data and enable access to new valuable information, while promoting a data-driven culture within the manufacturing organization.
How You’ll Succeed
Leverage Data: Work with stakeholders throughout the technical department to identify opportunities for using company data to drive business solutions.Data Analysis: Mine and analyze data from automated systems databases to drive optimization and improvement initiatives.Assess Data Sources: Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.Develop Models: Create custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets, perform output quality assessments, and conduct tests.Predictive Modelling: Use predictive modelling and simulation environments to enhance automated processes' performance.Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.Monitor and Maintain: Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy, managing solutions throughout their lifecycle.Coach and Train: Educate the manufacturing organization on data analytics methods and technologies.What You Should Bring
Experience using statistical computer languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) to manipulate data and extract insights from large data sets.Experience in working with and creating data architectures.Knowledge of various machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks) and their real-world applications.Understanding of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (e.g., regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests) with practical application experience.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team coordination.Adaptability: A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.Your Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field.With a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working with Advanced Analytics solution developmentAbout the Organization
