University of Rochester Medical Center is presently recruiting for a full-time FM or IM physician to serve as a Hospitalist on a 20-bed inpatient acute medical unit and our expanded 10-bed Substance Use Medical Management and Infection Treatment (SUMMIT) unit. Our unit coordinates care with an outpatient primary care/behavioral health clinic. Physicians work closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes a psychiatrist, a pharmacist, social workers and APPs, as well as peer specialists and substance use counselors. The clinical, teaching and research program of the Medicine in Psychiatry Division is nationally known for its high quality, comprehensive team-approach to medical care.
