Hadoop Administrator

Job Description Bachelor’s degree in Information Science / Information Technology Computer Science Engineering. Good experience in Hadoop echo system. Experience in security aspects of Hadoop and Linux such as File-based ACLs Kerberos Ranger and encryption integration with AD/LDAP. Experience in performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Spark routine. Should have sound knowledge in Hive Impala Sqoop Oozie HDFS Hive etc. Proven track record with Cloudera Hadoop administration. Broad understanding of information technology topics including hardware networking architecture protocols file systems and operating systems. Involved in problem determination using application and system error logs. Ability to work under pressure. Good communication and presentation skills - constant communication regular update and follow-ups with various stake holders. Ability to listen to team members and communicate instructions effectively. Quick learner self-motivated should have the ability to lead and direct team members. Should have the ability to take proactive steps in managing problems. Able to motivate and inspire team members. Encourage creativity and constant improvement.
