Description

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• Cost analysis experience
• Knowledge of Accounting Operations
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4-year College Degree in Accounting and/or Business
• 4 years related work experience; prior cost accounting experience is a plus
• Knowledge of Glovia/INFOR systems and overall systems understanding

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to promote and carry out Hitachi principles.
• Proven ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and be highly motivated
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
• Confers with and prepares reports for upper management and possibly other Hitachi Astemo companies
• Maintains clean and orderly work environment in accordance with 6S
• Ensures all local, state, and federal laws and regulations are complied within functional area
• Interacts with various levels of associates

• Coordinates and recommends cost savings and efficiency ideas for the facility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed

• Advanced experience with Excel preferred
• Intermediate experience with PowerPoint and Glovia preferred
