Role & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the reception and customer service of all customers and provides administrative support to the sales, accounting and warehouse departments of Unitek Supply, LLC.

Essential Functions

  • Main Line Reception duties
  • Responsible to assist in day-to-day operations and customer needs (order entry, collate documents for invoicing, sales returns/credits, purchasing/receiving, damaged claims, inventory)
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with excellent customer service and establish approaches to solving customer issues
  • Data entry and upkeep of POS system and inventory system
  • Communication with warehouse, office, sales team personnel
  • Minimal purchasing/returns of materials needed on a daily, weekly, and as-needed basis
  • Collection of outstanding accounts on occasion
  • All other duties/tasks as assigned

  • To be knowledgeable in products offered or be able to learn quickly about the products offered
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in a professional tone and facilitate the communication process with co-workers, affiliate representatives, outside vendors, including performing training sessions as necessary
  • Must possess computer skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel and email functions
  • 10-key operation of all copy/fax machinery, multi-line phone system
  • Must be able to interact with employees in a diplomatic and persuasive manner to foster cooperation and positive working relations
  • Must be organized and able to work independently
  • Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an HVAC controlled office. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per day. Walking and standing frequently are required. Noise level in the work environment varies from heavy industrial to office setting.
