About Our Client
Our client is a dynamic parent holding company with companies in its portfolio across the Manufacturing, Distribution, Facilities Service, and Logistics Industries. Due to a period of growth through strong financial performance and acquisition, they are looking to bring on a talented Director of Finance to lead their Treasury, AR, AP, Billing, Credit, Collections, Compliance, Insurance, Risk, and Family Office Accounting functions. Our client works in the Tinley Park, IL area and operates on a hybrid schedule.
Job Description
Develop and implement effective cash management strategies to optimize liquidity.Monitor banking relationships and investments to ensure optimal returns.Manage AR and AP processes to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments.Develop and maintain vendor and customer relationshipsOversee the billing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Implement and maintain systems for efficient billing and revenue recognition.Develop and enforce credit policies to minimize financial risk.Manage collections efforts to maximize cash flow.Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.Manage business registrations and licensing as required.Oversee the procurement and management of commercial insurance policies.Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure adequate coverage.Manage the financial affairs of the company owners' family office.Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all family-related financial matters

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.Minimum of 10+ years of experience in financial management, with a strong background in Treasury, AR, AP, Billing, Credit, Collections, Compliance, Insurance, and Family Office accounting.Proven leadership and management experience, including the ability to build and lead a high-performing finance team.Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
