THE DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI MEDICAL CENTER, located in Jackson, seeks physicians in the following pediatric sub-specialty areas: adolescent medicine. allergy, ambulatory, cardiology, child development, critical care, emergency medicine, endocrinology, forensic medicine, gastroenterology, general pediatrics, genetics, hematology/oncology, hospitalist, infectious disease, neonatology, nephrology, neurology, palliative, pulmonary and rheumatology. Rank commensurate with experience. Successful candidates will provide clinical instruction to medical students and residents and provide patient care, specifically managing pediatric diseases at Children's of Mississippi, the state's only children's hospital, and its clinics in Jackson, Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Meridian and McComb, UMMC's community hospital in Grenada or at affiliated hospitals including North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Memorial Hospital in Gulfport or Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. Applicant should possess a medical degree and have completed a pediatrics residency and a fellowship in a pediatric sub-specialty. Applicants must be licensable in Mississippi and board eligible or board certified.
