Position Title: SALT Income & Franchise Tax Manager

Location: Kansas City, Denver, Chicago, Saint Louis, or even REMOTE

The Role YOU will play:

You'll bring your expertise and experience in accounting, state and local tax compliance, and consulting servicesGo over client documentation and associated work papers for accuracy and tax consultingSupervising client tax engagementsDevelopment of Team MembersTechnical competence in systems and databases utilized by the FirmAbility to recognize, research, document, and satisfactorily resolve technical tax issues.Leverage existing relationships and contacts to schedule meetings with organizations, introducing the Firm to the market and generating new business leadsActive participation in practice development efforts, including attending professional, community, and association meetingsEffectively managing new and existing client engagements by exceeding their service expectations, ensuring their retention, and encouraging referrals to other potential clients; andGrowing the range of services provided to existing clients by suggesting firm offerings that can boost their operational performance.Maintain the highest levels of professional standards and ensure strict confidentiality for client information.Traveling may be required.

Background Profile:

CPA requiredCMI preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting or related degreeFive or more years of applicable experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel required).
