Collection Account Specialist

**Position Overview:**
As a Skip Tracer Account Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our debt recovery process by locating and contacting individuals with outstanding debts. You will utilize your investigative skills and knowledge of skip tracing techniques to track down debtors and get the account resolved with repossession or facilitating the payment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough skip tracing investigations to locate debtors who have absconded or are difficult to find.
- Utilize various tools and databases to gather information, such as public records, social media, and proprietary software.
- Contact debtors via phone and email to negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding debts.
- Set up transportation and delivery of repossessed units/equipment.
- Document all communication and update account information accurately in our system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to find the best options for success.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the account process.

**Requirements:**
- Strong investigative skills and a self-starter.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

**Preferred but NOT required:**
- Previous experience in skip tracing or account collection.
- Proficiency in using skip tracing tools and databases.
- Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations is a plus.
