Academic Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Texas
StartDate: ASAP

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health San Antonio is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist to join its team in a true clinician-educator capacity. The incoming physician will work in a clinical setting within an academic environment and also have the opportunity to teach residents and medical students.

Opportunity Highlights
  • 50% telepsychiatry, 50% community mental health consultations and time at dedicated child psychiatry campus
  • Wonderful quality of lifeonly 3 weekends of call with inpatient responsibilities (with residents) per year
  • Ability to subspecialize, if desired
  • Supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Ability to moonlight
