Specific Roles and Responsibilities:Act as a key leader for estimating, scheduling, and design management, pre-construction, coordination, and delivery of services for various pursuits and construction projects.
Has primary responsibility for activities on a variety of projects ranging in size and complexity, including developing preliminary budgets, value engineering, construction schedules, procurement plan, prequalification of subcontractors, detailed take-off and estimating, definition of bid package scopes, the subcontractor/supplier bidding process, evaluation of bids, presentation of detailed estimates of the work, evaluation of alternatives and comparative studies, assists the Project Team in buying-out the project.
Provides support for the various phases of project activities including development of scopes of work for subcontractors, studies, supporting multi-functional project execution teams on Front End Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
Manage and supervise the work of all estimating support staff (estimators, design managers, schedulers, and administrative). Assigns and coordinates scope of work with estimating staff for each project. Reviews project plans, specifications, estimating scopes and pricing prepared by estimating staff.
Ensure all staff personnel are adequately trained to perform their assigned tasks/roles.
Create realistic and detailed schedules for all proposals and designs, provide support to operations during the development of schedules for project execution and change orders.
Assist in pre-qualifying all bidders/subcontractors and ensure they are vetted and capable of performing solicited work and provide detailed scopes of work to subcontractor bidders.
Occasional travel to attend business related matters will be involved to meet with new and existing clients, attend business related conferences and site walks, and provide support to the projects.
Participates in talent management activities such as recruiting, coaching and mentoring others.

Qualifications:Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in construction and/or preconstruction management within the industrial electrical contracting industry.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Demonstrated success in preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals for complex projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in construction software, project management tools, and industry-specific software (e.g., Accubid, Primavera, ViewPoint, Bluebeam).
Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required
