About the job Your tasks
Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
Requirements- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process in building assemblies.
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Uses measuring devices to verify conformity to standards of product being fabricated.
- Suggests changes in procedures and standards to facilitate work and maintain quality.
- Maintains good housekeeping in the workstation by following 5S standards and procedures.
- Complies with all safety and environmental requirements and reports all discrepancies to management.
- Regular and reliable attendance at job site is required
- Performs other duties as assigned.
