Hematology/Oncology Opportunities â New York and Connecticut
Nuvance Healthâs Cancer Institute is seeking to hire academically oriented Hematologists/Oncologists and Hematologists (both classical and malignant hematology) at multiple sites across our growing system in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York and Fairfield County, Connecticut. Nuvance Health is comprised of 7 hospitals/cancer centers, and diagnoses approximately 4,600 new cancer cases each year. Our affiliated sites include Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY, Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY, and Danbury Hospital in CT. Our Cancer Institute is growing rapidly as we are expanding our clinical trial portfolio, aligning with an academic partner, and positioning ourselves to be a destination cancer program in this region. Our System Chair of the Cancer Institute will be attending the upcoming ASCO meeting in June and will be available to meet with interested candidates.

Our system spans suburban Fairfield and Litchfield Counties in Connecticut as well as the Hudson Valley region of New York State, about one hour outside of New York City. As part of the greater New York metropolitan area, our region enjoys both proximity to the city as well as access to a wide variety of venues for four season outdoor and indoor recreational activities. From the coast of the Long Island Sound to the picturesque views lining the Hudson River, the area covers a large geographic footprint with a variety of community settings. Highly rated public and private schools and universities are throughout the region. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible.
