Ferrero North America is thrilled to be launching its Industrial Graduate Program (IGP), a career acceleration program, which seeks to groom top new graduate talent interested into the future leaders within food manufacturing.
What to Expect
The IGP offers a comprehensive 3-year journey, which will prepare candidates for a career with Ferrero through mentorship, technical training in the role, as well as a supplementary training curriculum to support your development. This program embodies the Learning by Doing spirit of Ferrero, and will introduce new graduates to the industrial setting, learning the “Ferrero Way” and exploring industrial career path opportunities.
This 3 year program will include the first 2 years in the Home location and the 3rd and final year on a rotation to a different plant with Ferrero North America to expand your breadth of experience with the company and in Manufacturing.
Ferrero Franklin Park, home to iconic brands like Baby Ruth® and Butterfinger®, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Production team At Ferrero, we believe in the continuous improvement of our people, our products and our manufacturing operations.
- You’ll be on the front lines, getting an extensive overview of industrial manufacturing.
- Work collaboratively with various functions to strengthen operational expertise and people skills.
- Execute challenging projects with visibility to various levels of management.
- Training, professional development, and an overall understanding of career options within industrial.
This position will start Fall 2024.
Main Responsibilities:LEAN:
- Learn and practice foundational lean manufacturing systems by leading strategic projects using 5S, Kobetsu Kaizen, and Autonomous Maintenance methodologies.
DIGITALIZATION:
- Lead effective launch for specific digitalization applications that will launch within the plant. These applications range in scope: labor scheduling, idea management, automated OEE, and mobile maintenance.
PLANT OPERATIONS:
- Participate in key production meetings and planning discussions to gain full understanding of plant operations and systems.
STRATEGIC PLANNING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
- Partner on strategic project planning and management activities, including support for capital project expenditures (CAPEX), in conjunction with local engineering team.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT:
- In collaboration with manager, build and execute personal develop plan linked to career ambitions.
- Graduated (Bachelors or Masters) within 1 year (12 months) of application
- Preference to those with degrees in: Engineering, Operations Management, or Food Science
- Must be open to relocation.
- Ambition to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
- Highly proficient with use of Microsoft Office.
- Skilled in building rapport and interpersonal communication.
