About this role:

As a Shoulder and Elbow Orthopedic Surgeon at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. The Musculoskeletal team at Riverton Hospital has two orthopedic surgeons, two primary care sports medicine physicians, one podiatrist, and two orthopedic surgery advanced practice providers. This position will expand the scope of care for the team at Riverton Hospital, focusing on arthroplasty of upper extremities and fracture care.

Riverton Hospital offers a state-of-the-art technology in a modern 97-bed facility with a level III trauma designation. Riverton is a young, quickly growing community in the Salt Lake Valley.

In this role you can anticipate:
Practicing at Riverton Hospital and Southridge Clinic in Riverton, Utah Working 2-3 days per week in clinic and 2 days per week in the OR Local ASC with potential to participate 1:5 community orthopedic call responsibilities providing a ready referral source A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance

What you'll bring:

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine ACGME accredited residency training in Orthopedic Surgery ABMS board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship trained in orthopedic shoulder and elbow surgery Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one BLS certification and DEA Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
