Description of Work
Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, Nebraska invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Psychology (tenure-track) to start August 2025. As one of the largest undergraduate majors at Doane, Psychology provides a collaborative and collegial environment for faculty. The university values interdisciplinary initiatives and provides strong support for faculty development.

Anticipated responsibilities include teaching 21 credit hours per year (Fall and Spring) of undergraduate courses. Courses could include Physiological Psychology, Behavioral Neuroscience, Research Methodology, Health Psychology, Criminal/Forensic/Law Psychology, Introductory Psychology or Sports Psychology. Candidates may also develop courses in their area of expertise. The department is seeking a generalist, and the area of specialization is open. However, those with specific training in Biological Psychology/Neuropsychology, Health Psychology or Criminal/Forensic/Law Psychology or related areas are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or Advanced ABD in Psychology
Commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts university is expected among strong candidates.
