What We Are Seeking
Universal Business Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager. You will be working on a team handling all servicing aspects of an existing book of business as well as market new business. As a Risk Management driven Property & Casualty Independent Insurance Agency, you will learn how to create risk management modalities for client facing assistance.
Job Responsibilities
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships in a Commercial Lines Account Manager capacity.
- Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options/exclusions; making coverage recommendations; requesting policy changes and assisting with the needs of the client.
- Manage marketing of renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
- Assist Producers in their delivery of commitments to clients.
- Initiate renewal reviews and re-markets as appropriate to provide the client with the optimal solution in the coverage of their assets and the retention of the client.
- Through service touch points, review current coverage and recommend changes in coverage or markets and actively solicit rounding out of accounts.
- Utilize our current agency management system (Applied/Epic) to accurately maintain client information. AMS360 experience is acceptable.
- Through demonstrated commitment, our agency will provide an opportunity to obtain professional designations like CISR, CIC and/or CPCU.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- License: Property & Casualty (any state)
- 3 years of Commercial Lines experience with an independent agency
Preferred Skills
- Some College, No Degree
- License: Property & Casualty (UT)
- Designation & Certification: CISR, CIC or CPCU
- Management & Rating Systems: Applied Systems, EPIC, Zywave, and/or AMS360
- Computer Skills: Windows 10, Zoom, Salesforce, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe, DocuSign, MS Excel
- Languages: English (Spanish a plus)
