Description

Washington Hiltonis seeking a full-time Banquet Foreperson to join their convention services team This 1107-room property is within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with The White House and National Mall less than two miles away As a Banquet Foreperson, you would be responsible for leading, training and supervising the banquet set-up team in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Ideal candidates for this position will have the physical ability to meet the demand of the role, previous hotel banquet/convention set-up experience and a passion for leadership

Shift Pattern: Overnight shifts - 11.30PM - 8AM, weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $20.50 - 27.47 per hour

As a Banquet Foreperson, you would be responsible for leading, training and supervising the banquet set-up team in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsible for the overall set-up and break-down/clean-up of banquet functions Assists with setting-up tables and chairs to meet the function specifications Cleans meeting space including washing meeting room walls at beginning of events Vacuums, sweeps, mops, polishes, wipes other areas clean before during and after events Trains, supervises and assists in evaluating staff Requirements
