Job Summary:

This position is focused on developing growth strategy, leading the optimization of the website, and improving the overall customer experience. This role has a passion for process and delivering meaningful business results. Will work closely with marketing, IT, and sales teams to bring our brand and product to life on La-Z-Boy.com. Decision maker with a proven track record of managing site performance KPIs and interpreting into data-driven optimization.

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
  • Owns the day-to-day management of La-Z-Boy site experience and ecommerce business, including developing and implementing standards of quality and performance in all phases of operations. Establish and measure success against organizational and team goals.
  • Partner with brand teams on Integrated Planning process, partnering to inform calendar and develop site content strategy then develop content and experience briefs to extend consumer marketing plans.
  • Support our Retail teams (IFG and FG) via accurate product and local store presentation. Continually optimize through performance evaluation to proactively identify new Omnichannel opportunities while resolving issues related to customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage an emerging set of product discovery initiatives, from stewarding product data to vendor and project management for new Omnichannel guidance experiences to deliver clear and helpful online-to-offline product research journey.
  • Partner with digital marketing to develop organic standards (SEO) as well as track paid traffic trends and impact, providing requirements and suggestions for new features and experiences to ensure a connected traffic and conversion outlook.
  • Set eCommerce plans for revenue and site performance and monitor success against them; responsible for delivering results and developing action items for missed performance.
  • Drive team collaboration and processes within Asana and JIRA. Document, ticket, manage issues and ideas across appropriate communication and project mgmt channels, seeking ways to optimize and adapt for continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for management of budget supporting eCommerce initiatives including expense submission, accruals, and forecasting to maintain committed levels of spend and accurate record of current and future plan.
SCOPE & IMPACT: 

This role contributes to the success of La-Z-Boy retail and website performance through development, implementation and execution of Omnichannel strategy and programs that drive business and customer outcomes, as defined in the key responsibilities..

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) skills
  • Travel Required: up to 5%
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: up to 5 direct reports
