Phase I/II Environmental Assessor:
Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time Environmental Assessor in our Denver, CO/Raleigh, NC/Tampa, FL office(s). Summary
TEP is currently seeking a full-time Environmental Assessor to conduct, complete, and assist in reviewing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for telecommunications projects throughout the United States pursuant to ASTM E1527-21 & ASTM E1903-19.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in biological/physical/environmental sciences
- 3+ years of experience assisting with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and tasks under the supervision of an Environmental Professional
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Familiarity with ASTM1527-21
- Ability to work with office machinery including computers, fax machines, copier, etc.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Exceptional writing and proofing skills
- Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
- Ability to perform field work outside in a variety of weather conditions and terrain
- Comfortable with solo fieldwork, including airline travel/booking travel and accommodations within a budget
- Conduct project research as applicable to the scope of work
- Data compilation and organization
- Conducting site reconnaissance, including soils & groundwater field sampling, as deemed necessary
- Technical report writing
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule
- Identify and resolve issues with projects and provide solid recommendations to the Due Diligence Manager and Director of Environmental Regulatory Compliance
- Assist in reviewing and redlining Phase I ESA reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned
