We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate orthopedic hand surgeon to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a hand surgeon, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions.
Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions, potentially including shoulder and elbow pathology.Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating surgical and non-surgical interventions based on the severity and nature of the condition.Perform a variety of hand surgeries, including fracture fixation, tendon repairs, joint replacements, nerve repairs, and other specialized hand surgeries.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide coordinated care.Provide patient education regarding treatment options, potential risks, and expected outcomes to enable informed decision-making.Document patient encounters and treatment plans in electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical school.Board certification or eligibility in orthopedics and hand surgery.Completion of Orthopedic surgery residencyCompletion of an accredited Hand Surgery fellowship program.Active medical license in Michigan.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in the use of electronic medical records.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Partnership opportunity with options to buy into real estate and ASC.If you are a compassionate and skilled hand surgeon looking to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, you are encouraged to apply for this exciting opportunity.
