RESPONSIBILITIES:



\- Conduct client assessments at intake, 6 months, and 12 months after ICM enrollment



\- Work in collaboration with the client to develop individualized goals and service plans



\- Map community assets and help make referrals to community partners



\- Assist in scheduling and accompanying clients to appointments as appropriate



\- Assist clients with navigating healthcare and social service systems



\- Input case note documentation into IRC’s database



\- Communicate client concerns with ICM staff



\- Work on additional mezzo and macro projects to increase capacity of the ICM program

**Qualifications**
REQUIREMENTS:



\- Ability to obtain an AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card



\- Ability to pass an IRC Background check



\- Cultural competency & consideration



\- Excellent written & verbal skills



\- Proficient with Excel & other Microsoft Office applications



\- Self-starter, ability to complete projects with minimal supervision



\- Access to reliable, insured vehicle



\- Interest in public health, social work, or international studies preferred, but not required



\- Computer literacy, data base experience preferred



\- Ability to take initiative and work independently



\- Empathy and open mindedness across-cultural environment



\- Strong organizational skills



\- Must be comfortable working with the LGBTQ community and Asylum Seekers





Note: This is an unpaid internship, must commit to between 10-15 hours a week for a 3-month minimum. Internship hours can only be completed between Monday-Friday 9- 5 pm.
