Darden Fellowship

The Darden Fellowship will be awarded to first-year law students who also participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Scholars Program. Fellows will complete a full-time (40 hours/ week) 10-week program placement during the summer at Darden's RSC in Orlando, FL (May 13th to July 19th). Weekly stipend available.


You will have the opportunity to work on projects and with attorneys across various practice areas, such as:

• Commercial Law & IP

• Compliance & Ethics

• Corporate Governance, Finance & Securities

• Development Law

• Employment and Litigation


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• First-year law student (anticipated graduation date in 2026), in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S.

• Strong academic achievement

• Excellence in oral and written communication skills

• Contributions to promoting diversity in the legal profession

• Transcript(s) for undergraduate and any other graduate work prior to law school (unofficial accepted)

• If selected for an interview, candidates will be asked to provide law school grades

• Optional: No more than one letter of recommendation from a professional or academic reference


Housing & Transportation

Individuals are responsible to provide their own housing and reliable transportation to/from work during the internship experience.


Dress and Appearance Guidelines

Restaurant Support Center employees are welcome to wear casual attire every day of the week. This includes jeans, capris, T-shirts, and athletic shoes. Business casual attire may be required for certain occasions.
