Summary:
Responsible for month end close out and general ledger reconciliations. Support VP of Finance with Internal Financials and Annual Audit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Reconcile quarterly grant reports and reimbursement requests according to grant guidelines.
- Assist the VP of Finance in preparation of monthly financials.
- Manage the Sales and Use Tax process including submitting monthly forms.
- Assist the VP of Finance in preparation of the financial audit process and documentation
- Assist the VP of Finance in preparation of budgets.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or similar work experience preferred. WCA also strongly values the personal, lived experience of individuals from all backgrounds.
Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and database programs.
- Experience with Paylocity payroll software and Abila/MIP accounting software preferred
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive for organization business.
- Ability to work a varied schedule.
- Maintain confidentiality standards of the organization and in accordance with HIPPA standards.
- Commitment to the mission of the Women’s Center for Advancement.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The employee will be in a normal office environment while performing the duties of this job and will be required to sit, stand, walk and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. In addition, employee will be required to drive to other locations to conduct company business.
