Controller (on-site)

Vaco has an exciting Controller role available in the East Valley. We are looking for a candidate with 2-4+ years of controllership experience, job costing and WIP experience and ideally a CPA designation or MBA.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 6-8+ years of accounting experience with at least 2years of Controller level experience
  • Job costing and WIP reporting and analysis experience
  • Direct report management experience
  • CPA designation or MBA preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process, WIP analysis and reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations and P/L analysis
  • Drive process improvement initiatives
  • Weekly forecast and monthly management reporting
  • Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and g/l accounting team
  • Oversee and ensure revenue recognition is calculated through WIP reporting

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
