Who is NVS Glassworks?
We are a high-end smoke shop that specializes in American blown glass and accessories. We have long standing relationships with glass artists and companies resulting in exclusive brands that are only found only at NVS. Our SW store has been serving the Portland community since 2010 while the Woodstock store has been serving the SE Portland community since 2017.

Why we are different?
We specialize in high end glass, 90% of our inventory is American made We have a website nvsglassworks.com where you can find our entire inventory online. Locals can view current pricing and availability; we ship domestic and international

We've built strong social media IG platforms @nvsglassworks and @nvs_woodstock our audience is currently over 27K and growing.

We work with local artists and designers for each of our 3 annual sales to create unique events. Next year will be our 8th annual FUR20 where we raise funds for animal shelters and rescue agencies

Full-time and part-time positions are eligible for paid time off, give aways, generous employee discounts, health care reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications:

- Own your own transportation
- Flexible schedule/ availability
- Some glass knowledge preferred, will train additional
- Retail/customer service cashier experience
- Strong computer skills
- Highly organized
- Works great independently and also in a team
- Physically capable up lifting heavy boxes, climbing ladders, standing for long periods of time

Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Sales
- Assisting customers with expert product knowledge
- Product management
- Merchandising
- Shipping and receiving
- Purchasing
- Store maintenance
- Learning new things as we evolve as a dynamic business
