Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenacne, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting control panels, conveyor systems, pumps, sensors, relayrs, circuits, and mixing equipment.

  • Diagnosing and maintaining the furnace and accessory equipment for forging the metal.

  • Major electrical troubleshooting including diagnosing faults with a multimeter, reading a schematic, and hooking up motors, doing fault analysis of circuits, installing sensors, and plc cabinets.

  • Minor fabrication of equipment including tack welding of small parts to assist mechanics.

  • Working with the engineering team to help with up fitting projects.

  • Troubleshoot the plc system and the sensory equipment.

  • Following all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe and productive environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance preferred.

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals, diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing.

Work Environment:

  • Steel Mill Environment.

  • Non-climate controlled.

  • Overtime availability.

  • 1st Shift.
