Our client, a prominent, vertically integrated real estate development company in Dallas, is looking for a junior real estate attorney to join their legal team. The company develops and manages real estate across a range of asset classes, including hospitality, commercial, retail, and residential (multifamily). Properties include multifamily apartment complexes, hotels, retail shopping centers, dental offices, emergency rooms, and restaurants.

The firm is looking for a junior 3-4 year real estate attorney to work directly underneath their General Counsel. The role will consist primarily of deal level real estate work – leasing, PSA’s, SNDA’s, estoppels, title and survey review, etc. The GC would also love for this hire to get involved in real estate financing matters and with their joint ventures. While the focus of this position is on real estate matters, this is a great opportunity for candidates interested in broadening their skillset outside of real estate work and taking on corporate responsibilities – corporate governance, consents and resolutions, shareholder meeting minutes, etc. Additionally, a small, ancillary portion of the role (~10%) will involve working on other general legal matters that come across your desk – vendor contracts, NDA agreements, recruiting agreements, etc.
