Job Description: HVAC Chiller/Boiler Technician

gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the managers of commercial HVAC systems in office buildings industry. We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Chiller Technician to join our client's team. This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who are looking to be a part of the best culture in the industry.

Responsibilities:

- Perform chiller/boiler service in commercial and industrial settings
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on chillers, boilers, RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, VAV, and fan coils
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies

Essential Job Functions:

- Inspect and evaluate chiller/boiler performance and identify any malfunctions or abnormalities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils and replacing filters
- Repair or replace faulty components and ensure proper functioning of the chiller system
- Test HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
- Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities

Skills:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chiller/boiler service in a commercial or industrial setting
- EPA universal certification preferred
- Proficiency in working with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, VAV, and fan coils
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
