Kayak / SUP Guide

Coastal Explorations is looking for outgoing, fun, and outdoor-loving people for our 2024 season We train each of our guides on history, widlife, routes, and weather, among other things, so that they can comfortably navigate the shallow, quiet waters of Corolla, NC.  Guides don't spend all of their time on the water - that would make for an exhausting schedule - but also learn how to repair equipment, help with our hourly rentals, and work in our shop.  If you like to be busy - this is a good job for you

We are a small business with an emphasis on making both our customers and our staff feel like family.  Come join our team, be amazed by your "office" each day, make new friends, be a part of a tight knit town AND a small community, and live by the ocean  

We provide housing for our staff if needed in a nearby house with parking and wifi that is within a 5 minute walk of both the beach and our shop.  Our housing is pretty ideal for summer employees - we do not stuff the house full - but instead have 2 people per room in a 3 bedroom house.    

Our main season is mid-May through Labor Day and generally give preference to candidates who can stay at least into the 3rd week of August.
