As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that directly influence and optimize our marketing strategies. Your focus will be on delivering personalized messages to storefronts in real-time, ensuring that our marketing efforts are both timely and effective. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, experience with real-time data processing, and the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

What you’ll do

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Ensure the completeness, accuracy and consistency of data collected based on understanding of storefront personalization feature
  • Define key measures of success for personalized messaging on storefronts
  • Implement best practices for data governance and work with product managers and developers to address data quality issues
  • Use quantitative and qualitative tools to understand consumer behavior on storefronts to help define target audiences and messages
  • Analyze digital storefront (web and app) performance metrics using Adobe Analytics and examining microsegments to derive actionable insights
  • Inform the setup and analyze the results of A/B testing efforts, providing detailed post-impact analysis with clear recommendations and next steps to improve user experience and drive conversions

Collaboration:

  • Work with the marketing team to create personalized and relevant experiences for different customer segments
  • Work with product managers to implement analytics stories, bridging the gap between business and IT
  • Work closely with data engineers and analytics engineers to articulate the data needs for analysis
  • Articulate analysis and recommendations to pertinent stakeholders at various levels within the organization

Performance Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Create Tableau dashboards for stakeholder self-service that track key performance indicators related to user engagement and personalized customer experiences
  • Deliver ad-hoc reports with actionable information to stakeholders, including senior management and marketing teams

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in marketing analytics or a similar role, with a track record of delivering actionable insights
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Adobe, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with statistical analysis required. Experience with predictive modeling, and machine learning is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
