Responsible for full range of preliminary contracting duties such as acquisition planning, market research, solicitations, negotiations, proposal evaluations, price/cost analysis, and or award contracts.
Determines the appropriate type of acquisition strategy and contract for new requests.
Performs actions related to the administration of contracts, such as, final determinations, negotiations of related to contract changes, amendments, and modifications.
Provides recommendation or approvals as designated for technical evaluation reviews, contract reviews for adequacy and completeness, and or advising vendors on contract issues or protests.
May serve as a warranted contracting officer (CO).
