Objective:
- Manage supplier's portfolio (Internal and/or External suppliers) for ensuring goods delivery at right time, quantity and place based on Alstom needs.
- Express delivery needs to suppliers and contribute to governance of the Supplier's delivery performances.
- Drive action plan for performance improvement & contribute to risk management.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

Missions
- Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects
- Monitor Supplier's performances KPI's
- Participate/lead Supplier's performances improvement
Tasks
- Communicate the Material Planning documents (Purchase Orders, Schedule Agreements) to Suppliers and follow up Suppliers confirmation
- Analyze Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/service projects
- Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions
- Organize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances
- Collaborate with Material Planning Management/SDPM to validate worst Suppliers and define appropriate action plan
- Contribute (when involved) to Supplier Capacity Assessment
- Contribute (when involved) to Supplier's Light Capability Assessment (LSCA)
- Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plan
- Manage Material Availability (missing parts)
- Managing suppliers and related activities to drive cost, lead time, and on time performance.
- Manage Purchasing Document for Stock Items. Administrate and maintain purchase orders and change orders according to procedures.
- Manage Acknowledgement of Purchasing Document for Stock Items
- Follow-Up Needs Expression & Deliveries – Expedites the delivery of critical parts to production as needed and communicates updates to management and the project team.
- Coordinate Delivery Crisis Solving
- Coordinate with all departments regarding supplier related issues within assigned commodities including but not limited to Immediate Actions (I.A's) and Over, Short & Damage (O, S & D's) reports.
- Maintain documented records for both internal and external communications as it relates to commercial issues.
- Manage Capacity Self-Declarations
- Manage Supply Chain & Capacity audit, Manage Specific Conditions for Vendors
- Consolidate Vendor Demand Multi-Business / Multi-Site
- Travel to the Alstom companies and other Suppliers facilities as part of the material delivery follow-up
- Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
- Approves invoices for payment.
- Communicate engineering releases and engineering change notices to suppliers.
- Provide information to Management and Projects to keep them informed of any critical issues within assigned commodities, utilizing standard reporting processes and procedures.
- Participate in Special Projects/assignments as required and/or directed.
- Update and maintain SAP (GSI) with accurate delivery dates and PO acknowledgment confirmation.
- Any and all other responsibilities, in addition to those mentioned above, as assigned by supervisor/manager. Any interpretation/clarification with responsibilities above will be settled by the supervisor/manager.

Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Very good communication skills
- Prefer Associates degree in Supply Chain / Engineering/Industrial/Business administration, or other related field.
- ERP knowledge (SAP preferred)
Experience

- 3 years experience in Material Planning/Expediting
