**Job Duties:**

- Provide psychiatric, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to patients.
- Conduct psychiatric examinations and evaluations.
- Make diagnoses and prescribe therapy.
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy.
- Consult with psychologists, social workers, and other community agency staff regarding psychiatric aspects of their work.
- Confer with patients’ relatives regarding illness and treatment.
- Maintain medical records and prepare reports.
- Assist in establishing psychiatric programs and policies.
- Assume other responsibilities as required.

**Qualifications, Education, and Experience:**

- Graduate from an accredited medical school.
- Valid California Practice License and DEA license.
- Completion of a four-year residency training program in Psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- Interest in designing and evaluating efficient psychiatric care systems in a community health center setting is highly desirable.
