We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified General Cardiologist to join our highly skilled team at IU Health Arnett in the collegiate city of Lafayette, IN (home of Purdue University). A culture where clinical excellence is expected.
**Details:**
* Care for Adult population requiring treatment and medical management of acute cardiovascular conditions
* Established team of 9 cardiologists including EP, IV and General Cardiologists. Team also includes APPs
* Hospital-based practice
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and work closely with hospitalists and intensivists to ensure the best care across the acute care continuum
* Responsibilities will include seeing new consults and follow up patients in the ER, on the hospital floors and ICU. The patient mix will include post procedural patients from the Cath Lab, critically ill patients in the ICU as well as CT surgery patients
* Opportunities for teaching
* Current work schedule includes working 2 weeks and one weekend per month, day shift.
* Perform Cardioversions and TEE\'s

**Qualifications:**
* MD/DO required
* US board certified or eligible in General Cardiology
* Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
* Consistent and consecutive employment or training history
* Excellent communication skills
