As part of our continued growth, we have new opportunity for Per Diem **Nurse Practitioner** to join our **Per Diem float team**. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.
**Position Details:**
* Region: Long Beach
* Per Diem Schedule: Varied shifts as needed
* See patients in Primary Care / outpatient setting
* Initial consults, routine office visits, well checks and follow-up appointments
* Average Patients Per Day: 18-20 patients
* Comfortable seeing patients from newborns to geriatric
We offer competitive per diem rate plus medical malpractice coverage and eligibility for 401K program.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Master’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college.
* Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Studies program
* Current AANP Certification
* Unrestricted CA NP license
* Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
* Minimum one-year Primary Care experience
* Comfortable seeing patients of all ages
* Excellent patient care and time management skills
* Ability to work in fast pace environment, team player, adaptable to changing priorities
* Travel to different clinics in designated region
* EMR Proficient
California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $53.00 to $67.00 per hour.
