Sr. Java Developer with 11-13 years of experience working on maintenance product applications. Strong experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Microservices, Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry.

Collaborates with leaders' business analysts project managers IT architects technical leads and other developers along with internal customers to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements.

Location : Dallas, TX

Required Skills

·       Java 8

·       Microservices

·       Spring Boot

Nice to have skills:

·       Knowledge of multi-threading concepts TCP/IP database and REST based JSON APIs

Roles & Responsibilities

Sr Java developer working on maintenance product applications.  

Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements

Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions

Creates detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates

Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines

Should be flexible to work with Offshore team

 

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will depend upon experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
