Required Skills & Experience Strong working experience with Linux production systems (RHEL OEL Ubuntu) Demonstrated proficiency with a scripting/coding language(s) – One of these would be an advantage Perl Python Ruby shell Demonstrated proficiency with a configuration management tool a plus - Puppet Ansible Exposure to one or more of monitoring/alerting tools and platforms such as Splunk SignalFx TICK Grafana Icinga nagios logicmonitor etc Embrace DevOps and Infra-as-Code culture with the right mindset to automate everything possible Experience with continuous integration and deployment technologies such as Jenkins CI and Artifactory Should have exposure to agile methodology and working in an onshore-offshore model High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand a complex operating environments Proficient in good documentation practices Self-starter that enjoys learning new tools technologies and most of all solving problems System level troubleshootingDesired Skills & Experience Experience in OS hardening and implementing security controls is a great plus Well versed in TCP/IP DNS LDAPS and Active Directory with troubleshooting experience. Processor and system architecture (processing cores dedicated vs. shared cache system buses CPU memory I/O peripherals etc.) Network architecture and protocols (TCP/IP Security
