Summary

About the Position:This position, located in the Mike O'Callaghan Military Medical Center at the 99th Medical Group, Nellis Air Force Base, is comprised of around 1,400 personnel who are dedicated to providing preventive, emergency and acute care services for approximately 22,000 active duty personnel, their dependents and more than 40,000 retirees, their dependents and other eligible beneficiaries.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation under the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce.



Duties
  • Provide and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic measures to ensure patient is getting accurate treatment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and determine degree of danger posed by patients.
  • Assess individuals to explore the development of behavior patterns, mechanisms, and symptoms.
  • Determine the facts concerning patients’ problems and the underlying causes to assess the needs of the individual and/or family.
  • Work with multidisciplinary team and provide mutual consultative support to other mental health providers.
  • Provide training to mental health treatment team and professional medical staff.
