The Opportunity
We are looking for an intern for our Merchandise Planning department. You will learn the Merchandise Planning functions through the supervision of the Merchandise Planner and team. Partner with a mentor and Planning staff to plan for short/long-term maximization of sales that will be successful in electronic retail, and which will exceed the expectations of the customer. This program is a great opportunity for anyone who is dedicated to growing their Merchandising career in our business.

Your Impact
Manage inventory through pricing, flex payments, and life cycle of products and responsibly manage margin and price penetrations.
Responsible for scripting programs to realize financial results hourly/Daily within given departments within planning (Hard Lines and Soft lines).
Partner to issue and expedite purchase re-orders (POs) for upcoming seasons or placement within future scripts. Work with Internal Departments to ensure hourly scripts (HSNTV Programming Shows) are correctly completed and submitted and promotional efforts are realized.
Guest Scheduling and communication for hourly scripts by item(s). Communicate with other departments to maximize the efficiency of product lifecycle activities.
Responsible for participation in team meetings of specific areas of participation (Hard Lines, Soft Lines) to ensure engagement and gain of knowledge throughout the internship.
What You Bring
You must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student enrolled in an accredited college, university, or master's program.
Enrolled at an accredited college or university (Must be a current student) Completed at least four (4) semesters of college from the following majors: Business Administration, Business Management, Operations, International Business, Marketing, Communications, and Merchandising.
Experience in Retail.
Analyze data and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
