POSITION SUMMARY

The graduate assistant will support the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice (MCJ) program with maintaining the Digital Forensics lab, conducting research, and recruiting students.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice or related field required
  • Acceptance into (and continued enrollment in) one of DeSales University's graduate programs required prior to start in the position. Students in the DPT, MSPAS, and MS-SLP programs are ineligible for graduate assistantships
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
  • Certification in digital forensics preferred (not required)
  • Strong communication and management skills
  • Experience with hardware/software maintenance and installation
  • Experience with digital forensics
  • Flexible availability, including working during hours when no classes are scheduled in the lab
  • Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity
  • Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution
