A well establish day habilitation center located in Staten Island, NY is currently seeking a talented Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join their growing team on a full-time basis. The COTA in this position will work hands-on under the supervision of a licensed OT carrying out treatment plans, monitoring patient progress and condition, and assisting the OT with all exercises.

The base pay range for this position is $22.50 to $30.50 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you fully transition

Responsibilities:
Provides Occupational Therapy services to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Assists the Occupational Therapist in the evaluation process as needed or directed.
Identifies indications for and assists in evaluations at appropriate intervals under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
Assists the Occupational Therapist in identifying a problem list, short-term goals, long-term goals, and treatment plan.
Conducts individual, supervised, and group treatment as assigned by the Occupational Therapist.
Monitors patient's response to intervention and consults with Occupational Therapist if modification is needed.
Provides/recommends/fabricates adaptive devices or other equipment; trains patient and caregiver in the use or application of orthotics and prosthetics.

Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy
New York State Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Pay: $22.50 - $30.50 per hour
