The candidate who takes this role will have the opportunity to join an experienced breast imaging team at our rapidly growing breast care program in the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
Proficiency in reading digital mammography/tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and interventional skills for all modality biopsy guidance is required. The breast centers at Loyola Medical Center, Gottlieb Hospital and MacNeal Hospital are equipped with digital mammography/Hologic 3D mammography units, diagnostic US units, ABUS, breast MRI (3T), dedicated biopsy suites for stereotactic (3D) and US-guided biopsies.
Our group is committed to provide excellent patient care and high-quality breast imaging, which has led to great relationships with our referring surgeons, oncologists, and primary care providers. This opportunity will include coordination with breast surgeons, plastic reconstruction surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists with regularly scheduled case conferences. You will be joined by a highly skilled, credentialed team of technologists, nurses, and radiologists. Loyola is a premier academic medical center that integrates health-related initiatives: education, research, and patient care.
