Job Description
Financial Management:- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a team of 4 accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.Conduct regular performance reviews and foster a collaborative team environment.
Cost Control and Budgeting:Develop and monitor budgets for various construction projects, ensuring adherence to financial plans.Analyze project costs and provide financial insights to project managers and senior leadership.Implement cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
Software Proficiency:Utilize Procore and/or Sage for financial management and reporting.Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting within these systems.
Internal Controls and Compliance:Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting.Proficiency in Procore and/or Sage.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and construction cost accounting.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Proven leadership and team management experience.
