The Primary Care Staff Physician has a responsibility for providing primary care to defined panel of primary care patients. The physician will provide direct care, full time and work as a member of a patient aligned care team (PACT) comprised of a registered nurse (RN) care manager, a clinical associate (Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant), and an administrative assistant to provide care for a population of veterans.


Scope of the position includes, but are not limited to:
Responsible to contribute to the achievement of quality of care standards, efficiency, process improvement and patient satisfaction within the Primary Care Division, in particular to the incumbent's assigned panel of Primary Care patients.
Expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence.
Practices as an independent provider utilizing direct face-to-face visits, telephone visits, and veteran video connect visits (VVC).
May be assigned to any of the outpatient clinics within the catchment are of the VA Portland Health Care System (VAPORHCS).
Must be Board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases


Paid Time Off:
