HME is looking for your talent If you are a Senior Staff Accountant we would love to hear from you In this role, as the Senior Staff Accountant you will support HME Corporate and assist the Corporate Controller in multiple functions. Duties include assisting in the month end close and consolidation process producing monthly internal financial statements. Participating in the annual financial audit and assist with ongoing tax compliance. As the Senior Staff Accountant, you will also assist in the annual budgeting process and maintain the Company's budgeting software which is also used for forecasting. Additionally, you'll assist in the monthly variance analysis meeting with multiple departments.
What you will do in the position:
- Prepare variance analysis for monthly meetings with multiple departments.
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations during the month end close and consolidation process.
- Participate in the annual audit of Company financial statements, and ongoing tax compliance.
- Various ad hoc reports supporting Treasury functions and various ad hoc analysis supporting corporate and FP&A functions.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and maintain Company's budgeting software.
- Collaborates with supply chain leadership to ensure the correct processes and testing protocols are in place, both at HME and at HME suppliers, to ensure materials, parts, and products comply with established specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Support different business units by applying uniformity across all accounting aspects
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- Minimum 5 years of accounting work experience.
- Public accounting firm experience preferred but not required.
- Undergraduate business degree (with major in Accounting).
- A strong background in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Familiarity with cost, financial, and managerial accounting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with good written and verbal communications skills.
Pay Range: $73,000.00 to $97,300.00 This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
