Photographer/Social Media Counselor

Join our team as a Photographer & Social Media Counselor, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the camp experience for our campers and families alike. Your primary responsibilities include capturing the essence of camp life through vibrant photography, curating engaging content for our social media platforms, and providing support as a counselor when needed. You'll receive training to master photo storage and video creation tools, collaborate with our digital team to brainstorm and execute weekly content and immerse yourself in the camp community by interacting with campers during meals and various activities. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to blend creativity, interpersonal skills, and a passion for camp life into a fulfilling summer experience.

For this role, professional photography experience is not mandatory, but a solid understanding of action, group, and individual photography, along with some experience interacting with children and proficiency in video and photo editing, is preferred.

Summer 2024 Logistics: 

Dates - June 4th (Start of Staff Training) - August 12 (end of season)

Location - AstroCamp is located in Idyllwild, CA.

Salary - $515.00/week (housing and food included for the full season) + Travel Stipend (amount dependent on current location).
