Predominant Tasks
  • Receives, inspects, counts and stores incoming material.  Verifies receipt of incoming material by using SAP computer system and RF/HU portable scanning system.
  • Pulls, packs and ships outgoing material to include customer orders, service center orders, ARG’s and transfers to other Komatsu locations.
  • Delivers material in response to customer requests at customer’s premises during normal working hours assigned overtime and on-call hours.
  • Ship orders and transfers via UPS, Motor Freight, Air Freight or common carrier as required.
  • Weighs, palletizes, bands, packs and properly completes bills of lading.
  • Maintains accurate files on shipping/receiving documents.
  • Notifies supervisor and inventory control of incorrect or damaged material or any errors in counts etc.
  • Maintain excellent customer-vendor relations during customer contacts.
  • Follows all policies and procedures when using company vehicles and fork trucks.  Must have current valid drivers license and be able to pass DOT physical exam.
  • Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Observes all safety regulations and participates in monthly safety training.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements

Requires High school plus advanced training in computerized warehousing systems or equivalent relative experience, education or training of 1 to 3 years
