As Regional HR Business Partner, you will act as a prime HRBP within the Americas region to ensure an effective and efficient delivery of HR strategy, programs, services. This role will report to the Head of HR and will be responsible to deliver local HR support to managers and employees, primarily out of Duluth, GA.
 

 Day to day responsibilities:

 

  • Closely work together with the respective Global HR Business Partner and support in translating global business needs into local HR action plans as well as deliveries
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise (CoE) to create and deploy innovative HR solutions.
  • Follow up on employee engagement, employer & employee branding initiatives and activities at the country/region level in cooperation with Center of Expertise where applicable.    
  • Deliver HR programs and solutions locally/in business group and provide feedback to CoE and HR team.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Work with Talent Development and assist with special projects as necessary in the Talent Development space.
  • Establish/monitor the HR processes, applicable for both blue and white collars, throughout the year. 
  • Respond to Service now requests as necessary for HR inquiries.

Change Management agent:

  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance and support to management and employees.
  • Facilitate effective communication and manage resistance to change.  
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders on HR-related issues and leadership development and key talents (e.g. advise employees on career development, perform coaching and monitoring.
  • Promote best practices in people management and organizational development.
  • Participate and collaborate with Global HR Management team

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies related to HR issues.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.

Data and Analytics:

  • Use HR metrics and data to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and trends to leadership.
  • Agree on common HR priority agenda.
  • Agree on the people agenda through the region/BUs.
  • Leverage experience/practices across the region/BUs.
  • Monitor and stimulate organization performance.

Travel:

  • 10%-15% travel to Canada, and California office a few times per year. Open to travel to corporate office in EMEA for major HR meetings.

  • Being the point of contact for the BU’s working closely aligned with the TA team.
  • Performance management
  • Talent & organizational development
  • Reward management
  • Employee Relations (knowledge of Employment law, California Employment law)
  • Effective communication internally
     

Experience/Qualification for this role:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred, or MBA in HR Management highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SCP desired but not necessary
  •  At least 10 years in a HRBP/Generalist role with some international experience outside

             of the USA

  • Strong business acumen
  • California employment law knowledge (basics a must)
  • Have understanding of compensation strategies and benefits (this role works with Comp/Benefit at time).
  •  You have a proven experience in operational HR Management, and knowledge of US employment laws (Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico highly desired).
  •  You possess integrity and trust, ethics and values and a drive for results.
  • You are able to set priorities, excellent organizing, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • You are able to build a trustful partnership with internal customers through excellent customer focus, partnership skills & delivery orientation.
  • You are an excellent communicator, with experience in influencing others with well thought out recommendations, as well as strong presentations skills and ability to present to a wide range of audiences.
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, SuccessFactors (SAP), ADP, Service Now model
  •  You have good listening and negotiating qualities as well as conflict management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving
